After paying the entrance fee we are on the right side having a carp pond - home to gento penguins and on the left California sea lions. Behind them is a more modernistic enclosure for gentoos as well. In front of the main building are the harbor seals. Going inside we in the rigt are having a touch pool and we have to deside if we want to go to the great hall of fish or the tropical hall. In the ropical hall we especially meet reptiles, as crocodiles like caimans and the Philippine crocodile, snakes like the yellow anakonda and python, as well as bird eating spiders. At the great hall of fish we have 9 large tanks. It begins on the left with the salmon, then showing the biodiversity of the fjord, over the lake of Tanganyka befor we enter the big ocean and leading to it the sound. In the ocean we meet schools of hering, see the life of the bottom and the life under the pier (bryggen). The last aquarium shows the animals of the coast. Time to go down stairs now to see the smaller aquariums. These show shellfish, small areas of biotops, the feared piranhas and the octopus. In this area we also meet the coral reef and can watch seals swim beneath the water. Passing a diorama of Norwegian forest and a cinema, we can go down to the cellar. Here we find a large aquaterraium for Nile crocodiles and a smaller one for the broad-snouted caiman.
