Visiting WWT Slimbridge is a great day out where visitors can get really close to some of the rare and endangered wildlife – ducks, geese and swans, from all over the world. There are 50 hectares of landscaped gardens which change throughout the year. The 16 bird-watching hides scattered around the grounds will allow bird watchers of all abilities to see this incredible wildlife spectacle which can be just a few yards away. Don't forget to buy a bag or two of seed to hand feed some of the tame birds during your visit.
