Sendai Yagiyama Zoological Park opened in 1965. 550 animals displayed with regards to their habitat and taxonomy. They are famous for the joint project of Japan and Russia to restore the Aleutian Canada Goose to Asia and the breeding of Birds of Prey. You can observe African Lion, Sumatran Tiger and Polar Bear, and play with them through a windowpane. Japanese Macaque Mountain is always very interesting. You will be also surprised to see Japanese animals like the Raccoon Dog, the Black Bear, the Horse etc.

I don't have any guides of this zoo. Does any body know if they made any guides? And where I can get those?
In the years 1993 and 2018 they had theire anniversarrys. Have they made any books on this occassion?
