Opened in 1951 as the first zoo in Yokohama. Several species of animals including giraffes, red pandas, and reptiles are raised on a vast ground of 33,000 square meters. The Nakayoshi Hiroba where peacocks run loose and visitors can touch guinea pigs and baby chicks is one of the popular areas.
