Aquamundo is over 300sqm big and has more than a thousand species on display. It is considered one of the most imposing samples of our country with the most representative species of Chile and the world. Among its attractions, it has a 16,000-liter aquarium that houses four nurse sharks, as well as other species such as Lionfish, Pufferfish, Manta Rays, Moray Eels, Piranhas, Electric Anguilas and more. This wonderful exhibition is also considered an educational department that conducts talks and guided visits in order to bring people to the marine world, so they can know all about its flora and fauna. Every year it trys to have new attractions in Aquamundo and in 2015 we inaugurated a new and spectacular fish exhibition with fish from different places in Chile like voracious Morenas de Juan Fernandez, poisonous Easter Island balloons fish and red sharks of our central coast. All these animals are part of the largest exhibition of marine fish based in Chile. In addition to maintaining the traditional cavern where you can find a varied sample of animals, including the real aquarium of Nemo, the Clown Fish, and Dory, the blue surgeon-fish, there are spectacular living fossils such as the striking axolotls, various species of Amazons and strange blind fish from coming from caves in Mexico.
