On nearly 5 ha on the Pyrenean foothills, the Asson zoo is unique in the richness and originality of its collections and styles of selected species. Here, 500 exotic animals (divided into one hundred species) thrive in a lush and exotic envirement, some even live here in complete freedom! In addition to the flagship species of the Zoo (Siberian tiger, snow leopard, red panda, zebra, maned wolf), the park is full of monkeys and lemurs (22 species, some rare breeding at Asson), dwarf antelopes unique in France, small mammals (otters, mongooses, rodents), birds (parrots, flamingos, cranes and ibis) and kangaroos (one of the most important collections in Europe).
